| Eileen Goodall |
| EILEEN GOODALL was born in Edinburgh where she has lived all her life apart from a 5 year spell in Uganda. Her first love has always been gardening so it was inevitable that, when she decided to learn to paint, flowers would be her chosen subject, and she attended a botanical art course at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh. Eileen has exhibited her work at the Dunkeld Art Exhibition for a number of years and also at a number of small galleries in and around Edinburgh. Eileen has always painted in watercolour as this medium is best suited to the precise work necessary for botanical art. All her paintings are of flowers which she grows in her garden. |
"When staying in Pitlochry during the early part of the war, I chanced to see a stately house with a fairly large garden, quite close to the town. I at once realised that here my dream theatre might well be established in this fashionable resort right in the heart of Scotland"… John Stewart, Founder of Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
