| Jinski Play Pitlochry |
|
Jinski are two highly individual guitarists and musicians with strong distinctive voices. Â
Steve Jinski has toured Europe and Scandinavia appearing in all kinds of venues from intimate folk clubs to Hackney Empire. He has shared the bill with many artists including David Gray and Richard Thompson.  Dave Kennedy was a founder member of 21 Strangers managed by the late Chas Chandler (The Animals and Jimi Hendrix fame) and signed to Charisma Records. Whilst the guitar is Dave's first love, he is also a multi instrumentalist and an accomplished producer/arranger.  JINSKI play songs that tell stories of love, joy, loneliness and longing. Intricate, soulful, beautiful songs, foot stomping, sing-a-long, raucous songs; music for the head and the heart, full of passion and originality. Performing on their own or with a flexible line up their ‘live' work is a kaleidoscope of musical and lyrical imagery.  If you like Simon & Garfunkel, Dylan and Neil Young, you will be in for a treat. "When staying in Pitlochry during the early part of the war, I chanced to see a stately house with a fairly large garden, quite close to the town. I at once realised that here my dream theatre might well be established in this fashionable resort right in the heart of Scotland"… John Stewart, Founder of Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
