Building Work News
From 8 January 2024, we will have people on site to upgrade our glass frontage and repair the roof. These changes will improve the energy efficiency towards net zero and ensure that everyone is kept warm and dry when we reopen.
There will be further building works in 2024 and 2025 and we’ll share news about this in due course.

Key Dates
24 Dec 2023 to 4 Feb 2024 the building will be closed to the public
5 Feb until the end of May 2024 we will reopen to the public with limited access points to box office, soft play, drinks and light refreshments
End of May 2024 we will be fully open
Scaffolding will be coming down in August once the work on the windows and roof is complete
