Early Stages

Our wonderful Early Stages sessions for 0 to 3-year-olds are back for 2024. Come along with your little ones and join us for an hour of fun and play.

There will be different themed activities each week where children will be stimulated and encouraged to play and socialise. The sessions are aimed to delight your little one’s senses while introducing them to fine motor skills and the joy of messy play. All of this will take place in a safe and supportive environment, fostering social interaction and development between children.

It will be enjoyable for all and help little ones with the transition to nursery.

Clothes for messy play recommended.

We are very excited to welcome the wonderful Colleen Nicoll who will be joining us for this term and leading the sessions. As a professional musician and music educator Colleen is looking forward to lots of music in the sessions as well as stories, crafts, games, dancing and free play.

Colleen Nicoll completed a Masters in Vocal Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with distinction and combines a successful career as a professional soprano with work as an outreach and education specialist and choral conductor.

Colleen has completed outreach and education training with The Royal Opera House and English National Opera and works as a workshop leader and performer with Scottish Opera. Colleen is part of the duo Singing and Rainbows who write and perform interactive shows for babies and toddlers. The duo have also recently started performing community concerts bringing all ages together to enjoy music and singing across many genres including Opera, Music Theatre and pop.

Colleen also runs weekly music sessions for babies and toddlers and teaches Music Theatre classes. Colleen conducts Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s Show Choir and has also performed in the theatre’s summer season. She is very excited to be running the Early Stages sessions and is looking forward to meeting all the little ones.
