ELEANOR WATT Originally from Bridge of Weir, she trained as a primary teacher, with painting as her favourite hobby. After marriage and bringing up a family of four, she took early retirement in order to paint full-time. Her children and their pursuits often became the subject of her paintings. A regular contributor to exhibitions in Scotland and the South of England, she specialises in oil paintings of our beautiful Scottish landscape, many featuring children at play.
Eleanor’s paintings are in private collections throughout Britain, America, Canada, Australia and several other countries. She has often exhibited in this area, mainly in Dunkeld and Pitlochry, and her very many previous exhibitions in this Gallery have always attracted considerable attention and acclaim.
