Kim Richards was brought up in the small picturesque village of Ullapool in the Scottish Highlands. She graduated with Honours in Visual Communication from The Glasgow School of Art in 2011. Kim creates artwork based around the landscape of Scotland, in particular, the Highlands. She became part of an arts collective in Ullapool in 2012 where a group of local artists ran a shop selling local arts and crafts, including her own work. Since then she has been working on more artwork based around the Scottish land and cityscapes, and exhibits and sells work in a number of galleries around Scotland. Kim uses a combination of painting, drawing and digital imagery to create most of her images.
