Barbara Dickson and Rab Noakes this Weekend

Two of Scotland’s finest musicians join forces this Sunday 13 August, 8pm.

The pair share a respect for artists such as Bob Dylan, The Beatles and The Everly Brothers. Combine this with their experience of the folk revival of the 1960s, and you’re sure of an eclectic and evocative live performance.

As a multi-million selling recording artist with an equally impressive Olivier Award-winning acting career, Barbara Dickson OBE has firmly established herself as one of the most enduring and popular artistes in Britain today. Throughout her career she has worked with some of the greats, including Billy Connolly, Gerry Rafferty, Archie Fisher and of course Elaine Paige, with whom she sold an astonishing 900 000 copies of their hit I Know Him So Well from the musical Chess.

Barbara is joined on stage by the legendary Rab Noakes. Described as “a force to be reckoned with in the world of music in Scotland and beyond”, Rab’s career includes many festivals, critically acclaimed albums and successful collaborations. His 2016 album I’m Walkin’ Here, features an array of stellar singers, including Roddy Hart, Emma Pollock, Jimmie Macgregor, Alice Marra, Hilary Brooks and Jill Jackson, who supports for this concert.
