Gaelic Folk Superstars MÀNRAN hit the stage at Pitlochry

Thrilling live act MÀNRAN, make a hotly-anticipated return to the Pitlochry Festival Theatre stage this coming weekend, Friday, 8 March, 7.30pm, for another power-packed performance.

One of the best known Scottish bands on the scene today, the multi award-winning 6-piece bring their unique blend of trad-rock fusion, mixed with a blend of Gaelic and English, to Pitlochry for one night only.  Being the only band to host both Uilleann and Highland pipes in a single line-up, together with a driving blend of accordion, fiddle flute and a backline of drum and bass, they produce an evocative and potent combination - a unique signature sound.

Their meteoric rise to the top of the music scene in 2011 quickly saw them playing many of the most prestigious festivals in Europe despite having only been in existence for a few short months, including a concert at the London Olympics.

Fast forward 8 years and they have now performed in over 30 countries with their compelling and poignant Gaelic and English songs. Expect fiery tunes from fiddles, flutes and accordion, backed by a powerful rhythm section awash with elements of rock, jazz and funk.

Innovative and uplifting, the MÀNRAN sound is unmistakable.
