Happy Rabbie Burns Day!

In commemoration of the 260th birthday of Scotland's most famous son, Robert Burns, Pitlochry Festival Theatre is set to host their popular annual celebrations of the loves, life and lyrics of Scotland’s honoured Bard, on Saturday, 26 January at 7.30pm.

The Piper heralds your entrance into the Festival Restaurant for a traditional supper. Then take your seats for a feast of warm, rich Scottish fare, the Selkirk Grace, Address to the Haggis and a’ that, plus a glass of Dewar’s famous Aberfeldy amber!

The entertainment continues with a fabulous concert of poetry and song performed by the Jambouree Cabaret Singers, under the watchful baton of Musical Director Edna Auld.

The highly acclaimed and celebrated vocalists will lead you through the life and loves of the great man: from Willie Brew’d and The Star O’ Robbie Burns to timeless favourites such as My Love Is Like A Red, Red Rose and Ye Banks and Braes performed in the atmospheric theatre foyer. And of course, there will be a chance to join in with some familiar rousing choruses should the mood take you!

So be upstanding for the Bard! And a fine evening of celebration with excellent food, music and muse in a time-honoured ceremony in the most atmospheric of Highland Perthshire surroundings -not to be missed.
