Sunday is funday at PFT

A summer of events designed with children and families in mind, kicks off this month at Pitlochry Festival Theatre. On the first Sunday of every month the theatre is presenting regular Children’s shows, starting this coming weekend, Sunday, 6 May at 2pm, with Puppet Anima and Adventures From The Odyssey - especially to introduce 3 to 5 year-olds to Ancient Greece through interactive storytelling and puppetry.

Taking little ones on a time-travel journey with stories of magic and monsters, Carolyne Latham and her friendly puppet dog, Argos, brings Ancient Greece to life in company with Odysseus on his journey to Ithaca, and a visit to the first ever Olympic games.

Bring your family to meet the poet who wrote those famous tales long ago, in a fun and gentle introduction to the wonders of the ancient world and then meet the puppets too!

There’s also a new children’s play area in the foyer at the theatre where little ones can play, read and dress up. Come early, grab a coffee, or lunch, and relax!
