Tenors Unlimited Welcome Pitlochry Show Choir to the Stage

Tenors Unlimited, also billed as the ‘Rat Pack Of Opera’ are stopping off at Pitlochry Festival Theatre on Saturday, 23 February , 7.30pm, for one night only, as part of their 15th anniversary tour, and the theatre’s Show Choir are all set to join them on-stage for one of their most memorable arrangements.

The renowned trio of Scott Ciscon, Paul Martin and Jem Sharples came together in 2002, and set out to bring their own clever combination of popular opera, musical theatre, and iconic classical and their own original songs to extend the perception of a ‘tenor’ in the 21st century. Staying true to the melody with rich harmonies, they have created their own unique sound, performing on television, radio and around the world at top venues and with top artists, including Wembley Stadium, Royal Festival Hall and alongside Katherine Jenkins, Sting, Lionel Ritchie and a special, one-off concert with Jeff Wayne (War of the Worlds).

The anniversary tour, also crossing the pond to the USA, commences in Scotland and includes a number of songs from their third album, The Journey, their recent chart-topping success Who is He? in aid of The Salvation Army, along with hits like Michael Bublé’s Everything, the Righteous Brothers’ Unchained Melody, and much-loved classics like The Pearl Fishers’ duet and of course, a nod to THE 3 Tenors with Nessun Dorma.

In latest news it has been announced that Pitlochry Festival Theatre Show Choir, already with a pop-up performance during the festive production of The Wizard Of Oz and a Christmas Concert on the theatre’s mainstage under their belt, are very excited to be returning to the stage, joining Tenors Un Limited to sing an arrangement of You Raise Me Up.

This promises to be an unforgettable evening with the UK’s original ‘man-band’. To book your tickets, call the Box Office team on 01796 484626 or click here to book online.
