Tin Puppets Front Vibrant Pitlochry Show

This Saturday 8th April (11am), Pitlochry Festival Theatre welcomes The Puppet Animation Festival for a unique puppet show featuring moving metal models.

The Tin Forest tells the story of a lonely old man who lives in a dreary junkyard, full of other people’s broken and unwanted junk. He dreams that one day his world will be full of life, colour and sound. And his wish is about to come true. . .

This uplifting, humorous and touching show is full of visual invention, puppetry and live music – with mechanical birds, a windup circus and exotic animals.

The show is based on the book of the same name by Helen Ward, illustrated by Wayne Anderson.

Tickets are available from the Box Office on 01796 484 626, online by clicking here – or try your luck on the door!

The Tin Forest is suitable for ages 3+.
