Vince Cable at Winter Words

Winter Words festival goers are in for a treat on Thursday 16 February, 7.30pm when one of Britain’s most successful and highly regarded British politicians takes to the Pitlochry Festival Theatre stage.

Vince Cable was the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills between 2010 – 2015 and will be talking about his book After The Storm.

He will offer a unique perspective on the state of the global financial markets and a previously unreported inside view of the Coalition government of 2010-2015.

In this not-to-be missed event, he will offer a carefully considered perspective on how the British economy should be managed over the next decade and beyond, and reflect on his working relationships with some of the biggest characters in contemporary politics.

At a time of uncertainty in British (and world) politics and economics, Vince’s talk will be insightful, inspiring and offer hope for the future.

Have your questions at the ready and don’t forget to get your personal copy of Vince’s book signed by the man himself – books will be available to buy at the end of the event.

Book your tickets for the must-see event at the Festival by calling Box Office on 01796 484 626 or click here to book online.
