Rev Canon Liz Baker and Holy Trinity, Pitlochry have been a great supporter of the theatre while we have had to close the building during the pandemic, providing funds to help us create and provide community support online, especially our How to build Your Own Theatre series of booklets.

In May, on what would have been our 2020 opening night for the Summer Season, we launched the first fun-filled, illustrated booklet designed and made by some brilliant PFT artists. As our visitors, were unable to visit Pitlochry Festival Theatre we wanted to help create their very own Pitlochry Festival Theatre tent in the home or garden, with everyday household items. This book was the start of a series of song and story booklets, for children and families to enjoy together, generously supported by Scottish Episcopal Church partnership.

As we now count down to reopening a unique and special, outdoor 70th Anniversary Summer Season, we extend huge, grateful thanks to Rev Liz Baker and her teams for not only financial support, but great encouragement during this difficult period.

The churches in the Highland Perthshire Linked Charge are:

  • Holy Trinity, Pitlochry
  • All Saints, Kinloch Rannoch
  • Kilmaveonaig, Bridge of Tilt, Blair Atholl
