After The Storm - Chaired by Ruth Wishart

In his bestselling book The Storm, Vince Cable (perhaps best known as Chancellor of the Exchequer that we never had), explored and explained the causes of the 2008 world economic crisis and how Britain should respond to the great challenges it brought.

In his follow up, After The Storm, Cable provides not only a unique perspective on the state of the global financial markets but also a previously unreported inside view of the Coalition government of 2010-2015.

In this not-to-be missed event, he will offer a carefully considered perspective on how the British economy should be managed over the next decade and beyond, and reflect on his working relationships with some of the biggest characters in contemporary politics.

This talk will be chaired by broadcaster and journalist Ruth Wishart.

Don’t forget to get your copy of the book signed by Mr Cable at the end of the event.
