The Mountain Café in Aviemore is hugely popular with climbers, skiers and walkers, with the reputation of its mountain-sized cakes extending far beyond the Cairngorms. Chef and Owner, Kirsten Gilmour from New Zealand, will talk about her recent book The Mountain Café Cookbook, which is inspired by her Kiwi roots and travels around the world.

With over 130 recipes, including Cider Sage Barbeque Chicken and Passionfruit Melting Moments, you will certainly find culinary inspiration for your kitchen!

Prepare to sample some of these baking delights that have become such a signature of this remarkable place.

Kirsten is a regular Radio Scotland Kitchen Café contributor and has been a finalist in the Scottish Baking Awards and Café Life Awards.
