Firebrand Theatre Company: A Journey with Nan Shepherd - LIVE

This event has passed

Winter Words Festival 2023

Saturday 11 February

3.00-4.30pm

Award-winning Firebrand Theatre Company celebrates the 2023 publication of Dr Kerri Andrews’ The Correspondence of Nan Shepherd, 1920-1980, with a live performed reading which draws on Kerri’s research and dramatises The Living Mountain author’s fascinating life and literary times.

Directed by Richard Baron and featuring Sophia McLean as Nan and Pitlochry Festival Theatre favourite David Rankine as Neil Gunn (and a host of other roles), this richly-entertaining event coincides with the author’s 130th anniversary.

The reading will be followed by a Q&A with Dr Kerri Andrews hosted by Firebrand’s Ellie Zeegen.
