28th August 2022

We’re delighted to be partnering with Fèis Thatha to bring you a fantastic opportunity to see and hear one of Scotland’s best-loved Gaelic Choirs. The award-winning Aberfeldy Gaelic Choir will perform a programme of Gaelic and traditional Scots songs on Sunday 28 August at 2pm in our Amphitheatre at Pitlochry Festival Theatre. The afternoon will feature songs of love and loss and songs to dance to; some songs new to you and some which may well be familiar.

Founded in 1967, Aberfeldy Gaelic Choir has won numerous trophies in competitions at the Royal National Mod – the prestigious annual Gaelic festival of the arts – and have appeared several times on television and radio. Based in Aberfeldy, Choir members come from all walks of life and travel to weekly rehearsals from a 50-mile radius, united in a love of Gaelic music.

Fèis Thatha, Pitlochry Festival Theatre and Aberfeldy Gaelic Choir look forward to sharing with you our love of Gaelic music and culture.
