Colin Liddell, former Trustee and Chair of Pitlochry Festival Theatre and now its Honorary President, talks about the Theatre’s history from being a dream scribbled on a piece of paper during the turbulent times of the Second World War, to becoming the thriving centre of artistic excellence it is today.

The Theatre’s history has had its ups and downs but through the vision of John Stewart and the support of a dedicated group of enthusiasts, it has grown from staging performances in a tent to becoming a cultural destination for theatregoers from Scotland and abroad.
