A new adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s magical story about a boy who can fly and doesn’t want to grow up. One starry night, bedtime stories come alive for Wendy Darling and her younger brothers John and Michael when they meet Peter Pan and Tinkerbell and fly with them to Neverland – ‘second star to the right and straight on till morning’. They find themselves on a thrilling adventure far from home where they make friends with the Lost Boys, meet the evil pirate Captain Hook and his motley crew, and encounter a very noisy crocodile.

Join us on a fantastic festive flight full of fairy dust with lots of wonderful music, singing, dancing, and, of course, flying – this is the perfect Christmas entertainment.

Peter Pan and Wendy is perfect for children aged 5 and over. Run time is 2 hours and 5 minutes including a short interval.

Robbie hails from the North East of Scotland and is a 2021 graduate from Arts Educational Schools London (BA Hons). He also trained at the Dance School of Scotland in Glasgow.

Deirdre Davis

Deirdre graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 1991. She has worked for many theatre companies including the Tron Theatre, Perth Rep and 7:84 Theatre.

Deirdre first worked at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in 1999, when she appeared in The Summertime Is Come with Jimmy Logan and Edith McArthur. Since then, she’s returned to Pitlochry several times appearing in The Magistrate, Heartbreak House, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and The Monarch Of The Glen, Blithe Spirit, Heritage, North and South and was also a part of Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s Winter Ensemble 2021.

Deirdre has appeared in consecutive Pitlochry seasons, most recently in Sherlock Holmes: A Study in Lipstick, Ketchup and Blood, Private Lives, Noises Off and Little Women during the Summer 2022 season and 2022 Christmas production Peter Pan & Wendy.

Outwith Pitlochry Festival Theatre, in recent years she has played Nora in Rona Munro’s Bold Girls at the Citizens Theatre, Glasgow and spent 14 years playing Eileen Donachie in BBC Scotland’s River City.

Colin McCredie

Colin McCredie

Colin McCredie grew up in Perth and trained at the RSAMD. He is best known for playing D.C. Fraser in over 75 episodes of Taggart for STV. Colin is delighted to be back inside Pitlochry Festival Theatre after spending last summer outside performing in The Wind in The Willows and A Night By the River Tay. He can be seen in the forthcoming BBC Scotland adaptation of Andrew O’Hagan’s Mayflies and recently voiced the letters of Ian Brady for the Channel 4 Moors Murders documentary series. He has also appeared in Still Game (BBC Studios), Outlander (Sony Pictures Television), River City, The Missing Postman (BBC Scotland), Doctor Finlay (STV) and CBeebies Woolly & Tig. Ruairidh trained at The Guildford School of Acting following his time at The Dance School of Scotland. His credits include: Buggins in Half A Sixpence (Kilworth House Theatre), The Kist (Edinburgh Festival/New York) and a SAMSUNG Galaxy Note commercial.

His credits whilst training include: Dickon in The Secret Garden and The Clockmakers Daughter (Cadogan Hall). In 2019, Ruairidh was awarded The Young Scottish Musical Theatre Performer of the Year.

Stephanie Payne

Stephanie trained for two years at New College Lanarkshire before heading to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts to study BA Hons Acting in 2016. Since graduating just before the pandemic, her credits have included Pinocchio at The Citizens Theatre Glasgow, directed by Dominic Hill, and Mrs Puntila and Her Man Matti at Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, Directed by Murat Daltaban. Along with working with Award Winning theatre company, Concrete Youth on the ASMR Project, focusing on making theatre more inclusive, especially to those with Disabilities. Stephanie’s other credits include Locusts, an audio series pilot with Audible, and Douglas, with Scottish audio company, The Grey Hill.
