Adrian Masson is a self taught artist who paints mainly in oils and watercolour but has also used pen, ink and scraperboard to produce simple designs for reproduction. In his early career as a Naval Officer he had two paintings included in the Royal Navy’s calendar and in 1983 won the Racal Armed Forces Art Award at the annual London exhibition of the Armed Forces Art Society. More recently retirement has enabled him to return to painting after a 25 year break. In 2015 his entry in the Fife Art Exhibition was commended by the judges and in 2016 he exhibited in the Autumn Open exhibition of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour.
