Always keen on painting and drawing since a small child, I studied Graphic Design and was awarded a 2.1 BA Hons at Coventry University. I worked in schools and colleges for a while teaching teachers and students aspects of design and presentation skills, then moved to Computer Based Design in financial services. It was when I was on crutches for over two years, unable to golf, that I decided to revive the artist in me and started local art classes. I enjoy experimenting with new subjects and a variety of media rather than sticking to one theme for my work. I love portraits (people and animals), landscape and quirky stuff like my Medusa. One of my favourites is watercolour and ink which brings the graphical artist in me into play.
